Lymm Rushbearing Festival
Warrington Examiner, 17th August 1907

Extracts from the Press Report

After a lapse of over 20 years the ancient rushbearing festival was revived at Lymm on Saturday and attracted many visitors to the picturesque village. A beutiful pait of greys, kindly lent by Messrs. Greenhal, Whitley and Co., drew the old-time rush cart, and showed it off to great advantage.

The morris dancers, all "village lads" were picturesquely attired and went through their merry dance
