Rushbearing
As this village festival appears to wane in the estimation of the
residents, the interested outsider takes it up with redoubled energy.
Since the Local Board set its foot down against the Cross and village
being turned into a fair ground the popularity of the rushbearing has
gradually been on the wane
Lymm Morris Dancers
The morris dancers are coming out on Saturday morning in their usual gay
costumes, and no one will have reason to complain that the
"pan" has not been poked at them |
