Lymm Rushbearing
The annual wakes in connection with this ancient custom of
rushbearing will commence today (Saturday) and continue till Wednesday.
The rush cart, drawn by four grey horses, and headded by the Lymm
brass band, will start from the Spread Eagle Hotel at twelve o'clock
today, and process in procession round the parish.
