Pamela Stars

Following some disagreement, Pamela's father branched out on his own in 1950 and formed the "Pamela Stars" which lasted for approximately 5 years. The Pamela Stars practised at The Railway Hotel in Lymm.

They said that the Downward's family came from the Heatley side of Lymm, and that if there was a Heatley boys troupe after the First World War, then John Robert ("Bob") Downward would almost certainly have been the force behind it.
